About EF Changchun
First established in 2001, the school occupies four floors and our facilities are second to none (see photos).We have twenty-five foreign teachers,fifteen Chinese teachers and twenty-five Chinese administrative staff. We offer a variety of courses,ranging from young learners to adult and business clients. Both Teachers and Chinese staff have been providing the clients high teaching quality and best services. We are a close and professional team and we seek similarly minded professionals to join our team.
Changchun (which literally means ‘long spring’ in Chinese),is the capital of Jilin province in North-east China. It is one of the main cities (population 6.9 Million) in Dongbei (the Northeast of China), and is the largest centre for China's automotive industry.Changchun is a very good place to study Mandarin It’s an eight-hour train journey to Beijing, and shares a border with North Korea.Changchun is an inland city, 
being more than three hundred miles from the sea. Also the 6th Asian Winter Games was held here in January of 2007.Changchun is also a city full of creativities, In China, the first truck, the first car, the first film,the first synthetic rubber, the first red ruby laser machine and etc, have all been born in Changchun. People may read and understand the city from various points of view by her different charming names such as the “Auto City” the “ Film City”, the “ Green Food City”, the “ Forest City”, the “ City of Science, Education and Culture” as well as the “City of Sculpture”.Green color,green environment, green nature and green spirit, this is Changchun, a dynamic green city.

Places Around Town
Changbai Mountain
Mighty Changbai Mountain is favored with majestic natural sceneries at which the people from all over the world come to marvel. Tianchi or the Heavenly Lake is at the heart of this splendid place.
Jingyuetan National Park
Jingyuetan National Forest Park is located in the southeast part of Changchun City, about 18 kilometers (about 11.2 miles) away from the downtown area. Its name Jingyuetan comes from its large crescent shaped lake. This national park is famous for its picturesque scenery; therefore it is revered as ‘a tranquil place in a blatant city'. In addition Jingyuetan is also referred to as ‘the sister lake of the Sun and Moon Lake in Taiwan
Car City
The carindustry is a very important part of the local economy.The local FAW Group automobile plant is one of the largest in China and is a significant source of local employment. Most of the taxis in China are made in Changchun. Also EF Changchun 2nd School is the adjacent of the FAW Group Headquarter, all EF Staff are looking forward to the new opening ceremony.
Changchun Film City
Located in the southwest suburb, Changchun Film City takes film art and culture as its main theme. It is a tourist attraction and a screen base of both movies and TV plays.Film World inside Changchun Film City is known as the‘Chinese Hollywood'. It is the core attraction of the film city, and has the largest indoor studios for dramas and MTVs in Asia. In addition Film World is also a first-class visitor attraction with sightseeing, dining and entertaining.
The Puppet Emperor's Palace
The last emperor of China was installed as the nominal head of state by the Japanese. The Puppet Emperor's Palace is located in the northeast of Changchun City. It is a series of buildings that are totally different from modern styles. The palace bears witness to the Japanese invasion of Dongbei (northeast part of China) and the royal tragedy of Puyi and his concubines.
Lianhua Skiing Mountain
The facilities for skiing at Lianhua Mountain was established in Dec.2002.It occupies 23square kilometers,and was designed by a very famous company in Vancouver. It is 1049 meters above sea level. Unlike many other skiing areas , Lianhua is renowned for its nature snow.
