Housing: an free university apartment with one bedroom, one sitting room, one bathroom, toilet, kitchen, with appliances like washing machine, refrigerator, furniture, color TV, air conditioner, kitchen goods，telephone , internet access, 24-hour supply of electricity/hot water. Traveling Payments: If you work in Yunnan Agricultural University for two continuous academic years, we shall provide you a single-trip airline ticket (Chinese air line, economy class for the shortest flight route) between your residence city and Kunming.

Yunnan Agricultural University

Yunnan Agricultural University (YAU) was initially established in Kunming in 1938 as the School of Agriculture at Yunnan University. Separated from Yunnan University in 1958, the School of Agriculture was renamed Kunming Agriculture and Forestry College (KAFC). The formal title, Yunnan Agricultural University was adopted in 1971 because of the merger between KAFC and Yunnan Agriculture Working University (YAWU). The University has been developed as a key university of Yunnan Province since 1993. It is now a comprehensive university offering 50 Bachelor, 24 Master and 2 Doctoral programs in agriculture, science, arts, engineering, education, and administration. YAU now consists of 18 schools. YAU is proud of having three provincial key laboratories of Plant Pathology, Animal Nutrition and Feed, and Inbreeding of Xishuangbana Mini-ear Swine. The national center of Biodiversity and Crop Disease Control is taking the leading role in its research area.
The university also has authority to enroll foreign students, and cooperate with both domestic and foreign universities to co-advise bachelor, master and doctoral students, and award relevant degrees.
