Yantai Yew Wah International Education School is recruiting Native English speaking Primary and Secondary trained teachers for the coming school year (August 2009).
Location: Yantai, Shandong, China  

Our school is in the delightfully located seaside city of Yantai, on the coast of north east Shandong Province, China. The city, a bustling mini metropolis, has miles of beautiful beaches backing onto low hills. 

Currently, we have 31 foreign teachers from the USA , Australia, Canada, England, Cameroon, Philippines and India.  Our teachers are friendly and enjoy organizing regular night outs and social activities.  There are many restaurants, pubs, and clubs in the area.  Sporting activities available include badminton, gym, swimming, windsurfing, table tennis and golf.

Our Overseas University Preparation Program prepares students, seeking further education overseas, in studying to take the Cambridge University International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) program at the ordinary and advanced levels. Teachers experienced in this area would be preferred.
Qualifications
The minimum are as follows:

1. Bachelor Degree from college/university
2. Primary/Secondary Teaching qualifications
3. Native English Speakers are preferred
4. TESOL certificate is preferred but not required
5. Teaching experience in the content subjects is preferred
6. 2 years teaching experience

Our salary package is generous.  Living expenses in Yantai are low and it is possible to enjoy travelling during the holidays or save money for the future.
A.Salaries are based on qualifications and increments are offered for extra (relevant) qualifications, experience and other personal factors taken into consideration after an interview.                                                                                             
B.The school provides an excellent medical insurance package for teachers. (AIG insurance company)
C.We also provide good accommodation. Self contained furnished     apartments that meet western standards.
(Fully furnished with two bedrooms, TV (satellite), built-in wardrobes, desk, chairs, air conditioner/heating, sofa, bathroom with 24 hours hot water, kitchen with cooking utensils, laundry, free internet).
D.The Employer will provide the Employee with a round-trip airfare to his/her home country for each academic year.  Alternatively, half of this cash equivalent value may be reimbursed at the beginning of an academic year and the other half may be reimbursed at the end of the academic year.
E.End of contract bonus for satisfactory performance will be paid.
F.Salaries are paid monthly in arrears and included are standard     school summer and winter vacations.
G.The school arranges all working and residence permits for successful applicants.
H.Free lunch.
